JASNO has launched a new folding curtain product: JASNO folds. These clean-lined, contemporary folding curtains are produced in woven paper, and designed by Dutch Design studio Daphna Laurens. The unique elements of the folding curtains are the material – woven paper – in combination with eye-catching wooden strips. The collection consists of a select number of colours for both paper and wooden strips. The woven paper gives the folding curtains a durable look.
We at JASNO attach huge importance to child-safe window decoration. Children can become entangled in the loop of the draw cord and chain used for operating the window covering.
JASNO has won yet another award for vertical blinds: the Good Industrial Design (GIO) award.
JASNO has just been presented with an iF Product Design Award 2016. JASNO won in the category ‘Textiles/Wall/Floor’ with its JASNO swings. These vertical louver blinds – with a twist – were developed in collaboration with GBO.
“It is a real honour to take receipt of this prestigious award for our JASNO swings,” said Jeroen Hermans, director of JASNO. “We developed this product with the idea of creating something new, based on our constant questioning whether the product could be further improved, and whether it matched the mood of the day”.

Our free app has been updated and upgraded! Using the app, it was already possible to super-impose shutters on a photograph of your windows. The option is now also available to visualise wooden blinds. Select a colour, louver width or ladder strip. Quickly and realistically, the app will show you what blinds (or shutters) look like in your interior. Swings: vertical louver blinds with a twist. The unique feature of the JASNO swings is that they can be turned in a variety of eye-catching 3D positions. JASNO has developed a technique according to which gears can be rotated alternately, in a single movement; alternately, (almost) closed and any variation in between. As a result, you can adjust sunlight or privacy at home or in the office, with a single twist of your hand.
At the Dutch Design Week Eindhoven (The Netherlands), JASNO will be presenting its new product JASNO folds: roman blinds with Dutch Design.
In 2012, JASNO contracted studio Daphna Laurens to come up with a series of innovative variants on existing window decorations. The result of that work is the JASNO folds. Studio Daphna Laurens decided to go back to the very essence of the folding curtain, a process that has resulted in an innovative design which also ties in seamlessly with the existing collection of shutters and wooden blinds from JASNO.

JASNO head office has moved to Lange Voren 25 in Eersel (by the A67 motorway below Eindhoven). The new head office building offers more space than our former premises. The success achieved over the past few years made this relocation necessary. We are duly proud of the result: our new office building is spacious and inspiring.
JASNO has released a mobile application for the iPhone, iPad2, iPod touch and Android devices. Using this free App, in just three simple steps, you can demonstrate what your window would look like, fitted with shutters. This makes JASNO the first company in the sunblind industry to release an App of this kind.
