From measuring to fitting

Let us imagine you have placed your order for shutters. What happens next? I put this question to one of the JASNO dealers; in this case Johan.

Precision work
Johan explained to me that a few days after placing an order, the customer receives a telephone call from the dealer. This is the first step in the actual process of measuring and fitting. The overall sizes are probably already known, but to make sure the shutters are fitted perfectly, it is standard practice to measure them in. A visit by the local dealer, who will advise you on the best option for your interior style with colour samples, will take place. During the same visit, he will precisely measure the window openings, and issue you with a price quotation. As Johan explained, “There are a whole range of aspects that have to be taken into account, such as floors that are not level, or taps that may get in the way. Accurately measuring takes 20-30 minutes per window.”

Like a glove
Two weeks before the shutters are delivered, the dealer will once again call to make an appointment for installing the shutter(s). If you are in luck, you might even receive a visit from Johan himself ;-).

NB. The same approach applies to Swings and Blinds.
