Lloyd Hotel in Amsterdam

The Lloyd Hotel  is the first ‘one to five-star’ hotel in the world. The building was first commissioned in the 1920s as a hotel for immigrants and, after living through an eventful history, has now been transformed into a hotel and Cultural Embassy, to which more than 50 Dutch designers and artists have made a contribution. Every room in the Lloyd Hotel is unique. All have been furnished with the greatest possible personal attention, making use of modern Dutch design and timeless design classics. The majority of rooms are fitted with JASNO shutters.
